ABOUT THE ROLE
The Buyers Admin Assistant role is a 360 admin based role, where you will be assisting the Assistant Buyer/Buyer with the day to day running of the critical path across all ranges.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Assist the Buying team with the day to day running of the buying department.
- Working closely with the Buying team across PO admin, bulk fabric approvals, chasing of deliveries, updating dates, updating cost prices in Netsuite & Shopify
- Size curve management for all purchase orders alongside the merch team
- Assisted ownership of the sample room - organising samples as they arrive, hanging and sorting items, ensuring the sample room is kept tidy and in order.
- Assist with compiling weekly Competitor Shopping Reports to highlight competitor activity, missed opportunities & promotional activity, utilising websites and social media to complete the report.
- Assist broader team including Designers and Production.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers when chasing samples, fabrics, lab dips etc for the team.
- Helping within critical path meetings and working closely with senior production co-ordinator to ensure all dates are updated and new POs sent to suppliers.
- Assist the Assistant Buyer/Buyer with top line company best and worst trade actions.
- Manage samples for staff sales.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- At least 1 year of buying experience required.
- Degree related to Fashion is preferred.
- Current fashion trend knowledge and a passion for Meshki product is essential.
- As this role is admin based, knowledge of Microsoft office software is essential.
- Good organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
