ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Lingerie & Swimwear Designer at MESHKI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of our intimate apparel and swim collections. This position demands a talented and innovative designer who can lead the design process from concept through to final product. The Lingerie & Swimwear Designer will ensure that all collections reflect MESHKI's aesthetic, resonate with our customers, and align with market trends. You’ll collaborate across departments to create stylish, high-quality designs that are both fashion-forward and commercially successful.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Design and develop lingerie, nightwear and swimwear collections from initial concept through to final product.
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging trends within lingerie and swimwear to guide design direction.
- Create mood boards, colour palettes, sketches, and technical drawings to build cohesive and innovative collections.
- Collaborate with the production and garment tech teams to ensure designs meet fit, comfort, and aesthetic standards.
- Work closely with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to align designs with business goals and market needs.
- Provide precise technical specifications and work alongside garment technicians to ensure designs are accurately translated into final products.
- Select fabrics, trims, and materials that complement the design, ensuring a balance of comfort, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct fittings, make necessary adjustments, and oversee sampling to guarantee the perfect fit and finish of each piece.
- Ensure all designs adhere to budget and production schedules, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Promote and incorporate sustainable practices where possible, including the use of eco-friendly materials and responsible production methods.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5-7 years of experience in lingerie and/or swimwear design, with a portfolio showcasing your expertise in these categories.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD software, and other design tools.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and fit specific to lingerie and swimwear.
- A keen eye for detail and an ability to create designs that combine style, functionality, and comfort.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A deep passion for lingerie and swimwear design, and an understanding of the MESHKI brand identity and values.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A positive, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
