ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Mid-Weight Graphic Designer - CRM at MESHKI, you will be focused on creating visually appealing and high-converting email designs that align with the brand’s premium aesthetic for marketing campaigns, sales, customer loyalty programmes and flow campaigns. This role requires a highly creative eye, a passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and a strong understanding of how to create successful email campaigns.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Ensure all email designs are consistent with brand guidelines, a premium aesthetic while maintaining a cohesive look across all digital touch points.
- Use exceptional knowledge of typography to enhance readability and engagement across email campaigns.
- Develop and implement layout designs, using fonts, colours and imagery to enhance readability and engagement.
- Create multiple design versions for A/B testing to identify effective design elements that drive higher engagement and conversion rates.
- Work on your own creative initiative, bring new innovative creative ideas to the wider team.
- Optimise email design for various devices, ensuring mobile responsiveness and compatibility with different email clients while keeping user experience at the forefront.
- Collaborating with marketing, copywriting, and development teams to ensure email campaigns are executed smoothly. Understand campaign objectives, messaging, and target audience.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and offer creative input for email content strategy.
- Ensure email designs are user-friendly, focusing on premium image selections, clear call-to-action (CTA) buttons and easy navigation.
- Work with CRM team to ensure emails render correctly across different email platforms like Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail.
- Continuously improve designs based on performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and user engagement data.
- Maintain consistency across all emails, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall visual branding and messaging.
- Research and stay up-to-date on current email design trends, technologies, and best practices to keep email campaigns innovative and effective.
- Have the ability to assist in other areas of the graphic design team when needed. (advertising, website assets, photo retouching, basic Video Editing and Print is a bonus)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 3 years of experience designing high-end email marketing campaigns for an industry leader or in a similar role.
- A tertiary qualification in Visual Communications Design, Graphic Design or similar.
- Experience in the fashion, beauty or retail industry.
- Be an exceptional team player, accept and take feedback on board while maintaining a positive growth mindset.
- Good understanding of branding and working with brand style guides.
- A strong knowledge of typography, the fundamentals of design and best design and typography practices.
- Highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage timelines.
- Strong, demonstrable technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
