ABOUT THE ROLE

The TikTok Manager at MESHKI is a dynamic and creative role responsible for managing and elevating the brand’s presence on TikTok. This position involves developing and executing innovative content strategies, fostering community engagement and driving brand awareness through the platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of TikTok trends, a passion for fashion and digital media and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with MESHKI’s target audience, driving community engagement.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive TikTok social strategy that aligns with MESHKI’s brand vision, marketing objectives, follower growth and engagement rate targets.
  • Stay ahead of TikTok trends and leverage them to create viral, engaging content.
  • Utilise gen-z marketing to amplify MESHKI’s branding on TikTok through content, collaborations and community management.
  • Plan and produce high-quality, creative video content that showcases MESHKI’s products and brand story.
  • Create and manage a content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule that maximises engagement.
  • Conceptualise, produce, film and edit TikTok videos, collaborating with the creative team to ensure content quality and alignment with brand aesthetics. Utilise a variety of content formats including challenges, tutorials, behind-the-scenes and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Monitor and analyse community feedback to inform content strategy and improve engagement.
  • Track and analyse key performance metrics, including views, likes, shares and follower growth to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to the marketing team, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Work closely with the marketing, creative and product teams to ensure TikTok content aligns with broader marketing campaigns and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to enhance TikTok marketing efforts and drive innovative campaigns.
  • Encourage and implement innovative ideas that differentiate MESHKI from competitors and attract a wider audience.
  • Develop and execute branding and creative ads, as well as campaign shoots, that are TikTok-specific and align with the platform’s unique style and audience.
  • Develop strategies to generate sales and drive product sell-through on TikTok through organic content.
  • Use TikTok to spotlight products, driving traffic to the website and increasing conversion rates.
  • Work with the digital marketing team on the paid strategy for TikTok ads. Integrate organic and paid efforts to create cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously ideate and implement new ways to utilise TikTok features and trends to enhance MESHKI’s presence on the platform.
  • Develop and test creative concepts that can be scaled and replicated across different campaigns.
  • Maintain a high standard of creativity and innovation in all TikTok-related activities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on TikTok and managing a team
  • Proven track record of creating viral and engaging content on TikTok
  • Proven track record of growing a Tiktok channel
  • Strong video production and editing skills, with proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
  • Deep understanding of TikTok trends, TikTok gen-z marketing, algorithms and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with followers and influencers.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for fashion and digital media.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions that align with brand values.
  • Inherent understanding of what appeals to MESHKI’s target demographic, ensuring that all marketing efforts resonate with the audience.
  • Extensive experience with the US market and global business operations, with a proven track record of driving growth in diverse regional markets.
